effect edge of fonts
Hi All:
I am working on an avid, and I have a question about effecting font. How would I apply an effect like rays or glows, just to the edges of the font, and not effect the fill or the bottom layer? I have been playing and I am not getting it. Thanks for your help.

Hi Roy — I assume you’re using Sapphire v2. After applying the effect and selecting “Apply to Title/Key”, just turn up Rays From Alpha so the rays are generated from the alpha (matte) rather than the fill. You may also want to turn up Rays Under Source so the rays come from behind/under the foreground (title).
