    Hi all –

    Got a problem (as usual)

I have linked a button in my DVD to a website (www.chidry.com). The website pops up fine, but when I click on a few links, I get a pop-up window saying “Internet Explorer Script Error”, and “syntax error”. It asks “do I want to continue to run scripts” and whether I select Y or N, it works fine after that – but I get the annoying message every time.

Using a different web browser, the site works fine. And going to other sites using InterActual browser works fine. So seems to be a conflict between the browser and the actual website.

Has anyone seen this b/f, and know what the heck to do about it? My uneducated guess is the website was poorly created, and there might be some left over code that is conflicting?

Any help on this would be great – I have to present this to the client tomorrow, and I’d like to be able to tell them it’s a quick fix – (yeah, sure)

    Thanks!!!

    Dane

Probably too late based on your post date, but I ran into this problem once with a website running a lot of scripts. What I did was copied the page and saved that as a file. Then instead of instructing the player to open a webpage, I had it open the file instead. It won’t browse through InteractualPlayer but rather through the user’s default webbrowser. This way you won’t get errors.
