EDL problems with FCP 6
Hello all,
I’ve been importing EDL for subtitles for some time on older versions of FCP and it’s gone pretty smoothly, but now I’ve got my hands on version 6.0.5, nothing works, and I can’t work out what has changed.
When I import an EDL, it only names the first clip, leaving the others nameless, so I can only rec-connect to that one clip. if I then rename the clips by hand, it wil find them all, but then re-connect to the clips one at a time, rather than as a batch. on top of this, once I get all my clips in (they are all .png files) if I need to modify the alpha, it will only do it one clip at a time, rather than as a batch.
Hopefully this is the result of some improvement I’m missing! any advise much apreciated.
