EDL Import
My goal is to import a FCP project into Premier Pro 1.5, my steps thus far are as follows:
– Using Manage Project, I trimmed the 30 sec commercial to another folder (uncompressed).
– Exported an EDL
– Tx the files to my PC
– Added the and MOV extension to the footage (which had had no extension)
– Created a new project
– Imported the EDLThe result was an immediate crash of Premier.
I tried minor variations (including adding file ext. to the file names in the EDL) with no change in outcome (program crash).
Is this style of transfer not possible or am I doing something wrong?
