    hi,

I need to export an edl from premiere pro cs6 to baselight for color grading. The standard edl export works, but it uses frame numbers from the clip instead of the embedded timecode.

Is there a way to export ad edl with timecode instead of frames?

    cheers

Is the problem on the export side or on the import (Baselight) side?
I have done many edl imports to Baselight and you can adjust where it takes the information from. I guess it must be on the export side. Are you using CMX3600 edl?

    hey,

im guessing its the export side. the edl will work, but the colorist would prefer to work with timecode instead of frames.

i cant see any options for using timecode instead of frames.

My solution was to do an xml and bring the whole thing in Final cut and export and EDL from there. painful but it works.
