EDL from MXF
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can generate a EDL from PP CS3 from a project using MXF files from my hard drive?When I generate the EDL I am able to bring the timeline back into PP but all the files are unlinked and when I try to re-link the files PP crashes. I looked at the EDL in a text editor and there was no mention of a path to the files.
I really need to send out an EDL to post audio and if I can’t resolve this issue will have to switch to FCP.

I’ve had the same issue. I was working with with DVCProHD 720p, 24p, it crashed as well on linking on a separate machine. MXF support is brand new on PP3, I’m guessing the EDL feature has yet to be implemented with it.
