EDL from FInal Cut Pro
Hi,
I’m working on a documentary at the moment, which is about to go into a post-house for the on-line.
The majority of footage is HDV, but a small portion of the time-line has 16mm film on it, which needs to be telecined.
We’re about to send the 16mm film reels to the post-house, as well as DVCAM tapes of the film footage, which we used to edit the film footage into the time-line.
The post-house now wants an EDL of the time-line as a reference for the telecine.
I’m new to the business, and just wondering if anyone can advise me on the best way to export an EDL from Final Cut Pro?
Like should I do an EDL of just the film footage, or simply do one of the entire time-line? Or does it make a difference?Thanks in advance.

File>Export>EDL. Pretty straighforward. Use the default settings, but make sure that it is CMX-3600.
