EDL FCP to Avid: all 23h duration clips?!?
The edl from FCP imported into EDL manager fine.
It looks good.
It loads into the Avid seemingly fine. A few black frames, typical for a FCP EDL I find.
However, this time the clips are in the bin ready to capture with 23:59;59;59 duration clips. Any idea how to digitize these guys? Thanks!

I threw away the long-duration clips generated by the EDL manager and decomposed the timeline it generated.
The new clips have new names and 60 frames more pad (not a bad thing) but these new clips are the correct duration.

That’s how it’s supposed to work. You would have the same issues with any EDL.
