Finally a great intermediate codec that is cross platform encode/decode, does SD and HD and is free.

I use Edius 6 at a “place of business” and really like it. The interface may be my favorite of all the non-linears I’ve used. I do think they needed a cross platform a lot earlier then now, however. I think they may have missed a lot of new business with mac users.

It’s too bad Edius isn’t cross platform. I still have v4 and a dongle around here somewhere.

Man, I registered and searched ALL over the website and I see NO downloads for the HQX codoc. Anybody have a link?
