I’m getting a following message:

The operation you are performing modifies roles.
Edits on affected role components throughout library XXX will be lost.
*****
I’m just moving a music clip (with Music role) left or right, the same as I’ve done a million times before. Roles haven’t been modified recently at all. Even if I edit roles, remove/readd clip to timeline, I get this message. You can imagine how handy this is while editing.Please help, thanks!
EDIT: I’m only getting this while moving the clips with mouse. When nudging with keyboard, it doesn’t pop up at all. Clearly a bug.

Try copy/pasting into a new timeline and be sure to send feedback to Apple.

I would trash your prefs.
Quit FCPX, and then hold command and option upon the next launch. On the resulting dialogue box, confirm the option to ‘delete preferences’.
