    I have a question, if you work for some of the Networks, NBC, ABC or CBS…
    are you allowed to post a clip from something you edited that aired?
    Do you have to clear it ? Better to just show it on DVD??

    Speaking on a technical sense, no, you have no rights to it at all.
    That said, it is common to not only highlight your work, but to say who it was for on your reel. Commercial music is often used as well, again with no rights to it. You are not selling the web clips or your reel on DVD so it’s not considered unethical.
