If you make your living editing with Premiere Pro, do yourself a favor and get this book by Richard Harrington. We’ve converted from FCP 7 to Premiere Pro CS6 and while it’s an easy transition (especially with built in FCP keyboard shortcuts) there’s enough different that will frustrate you if you don’t know where to look (ie Transfer Modes Screen, hard light etc) aren’t readily available unless you realize Premiere does the same thing with a key filter – manipulating the “Canvas” requires a double click first…etc)

Richard’s book is the manual that should come with the software…..he explains everything through the eyes of an editor who was a huge FCP fan till the transition to X…and who made that transition to Premiere himself….solid information, great writing. I don’t know Richard but his tutorials on all things Adobe are some of the best.
