  • Editing without BMD card

Hi all, I’ve only worked with BMD based footage on my system that has the BMD card. I now have a bunch of footage digitized using BMD Mjpeg codec and would like to edit on my new notebook. I’ve installed the latest drivers on the notebook and can play back the footage fine in Windows Media player. However when I open an existing project or start a new project in Premiere the Decklink editing modes are not available and if I make a project using custom settings then all my footage requires rendering to view in real time. Not good. I need to be able to interchange footage back and forth between systems and since BMD is strict in not being able to play other types of codecs I thought mjpeg would be good to use. Not so far. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
