  Editing with .MOD clips

  Hi everyone,

  I’ve recently been given some camcorder footage to edit with. They are ‘MPEG Program Stream’ clips which have the file extension .MOD

  I’m running MC5.5 on a Mac and I can’t import the clips directly or link to AMAs so I’m going to have to convert to another format before import. What’s the best one to achieve the least amount of degradation? I have plenty of disk space for the interim format but the options are bewildering to me.
