Editing with Markers (last post – honest)
I cut a whole slew of music cues today using the markers that had been added with descriptions. HOWEVER…I just saw that the FCP manual does NOT recommend editing with markers as it makes Media Management difficult (subclipping the markers is the suggested procedure).
There were A LOT od music cues, and a bunch of edits within those cues which I’d rather not redo. Am I hosed? (and yes I’ll subclip my markers in the future).

I use all types of markers often but I never use Madia Manager.
Can you point me to this place in the manual where it says, “This is a cool feature but you can’t use it?”

From Chapter 4, page 68:
“You can edit markers into your sequence as if they were clips. However, a marker edited directly from the Browser into a sequence becomes an independent clip, with no affiliation to the clip from which it came.
