  • Editing seperate images from video

Posted by Tracey Nole on November 26, 2009 at 4:00 pm

I am driving myself crazy trying to seperate my audio and video in the time line. I am trying to edit a concert I shot and want to use one song (one audio track) with various images from the concert. How can I keep the audio in the time line and drag various clips? Is this a matter of split editing?

    Thanks for any help.

Put the audio in the timeline where you want it, then click the padlock symbol on the left of the track(s). Audio now won’t be affected and you can amuse yourself with the video

Put the audio where you want it. Click the little padlock symbol to the left of the track(s)
Carve up the video to your hearts content.
