    Hi!

I am working with a digital storytelling project with school-kids, and i am wondering if anybody knows any freeware (open source) program for editing? Just need a simple one, but which allows for alpha channels and ability to move the pictures for them to make simple animations.

    Does anybody have suggestions?

    Kind regards,
    David

I’m not sure how this handles alpha but it looks interesting:
https://www.openmovieeditor.org/ but it is for linux.
https://jahshaka.org/ has been around a while but also usable. It may be a bit advanced for beginners so look at what it offers.

I guess Windows Movie Maker and/or iMovie don’t do what you need?
