Editing in 23.98 fps Timeline
I’ve got a lot of footage I shot at 24p which I used Cinema Tools to remove the pulldown, but since the project is a documentary and I’m using a lot of other old footage that was shot on standard DV years ago, will I be able to edit that footage in a 23.98 fps Timeline as well? Should that older footage just be captured at 23.98 or will that ruin it? Is there a way to convert it to 24p?
I’m planing on using After Effects / Motion once the rough cut is put together and am worried that the graphics won’t sync up. Any thoughts?
Also, I’m correct in doing the pulldown on all my clips before doing any editing, right? And I should be editing in a 23.98 fps Timeline?
