Editing generated project media text.
I’m trying to replace several words in a text frame (using legacy text), and every time I change a letter, Vegas jumps out of text edit mode, and I have to get back into text edit. Doing this a couple dozen times seems crazy, and thinking there must be a better way to edit blocks of text.

This may help. Always copy the text that you are using and paste the font you are using.

Kind of a dumb glitch, I think. But Vegas seems to have become over-filled with bloat features that I’d never use, while sacrificing the usability of basic features that made it a wonderful tool for twenty years. I’m afraid to upgrade now, because it seems to get more difficult to use, with all the new bells and whistles to make specious “special de-fects.”
