editing DVD in PPRO

May 31, 2005 at 10:14 pmNot natively Eyal. DVD files are encoded as MPEG2 but I believe there are many utilities that fellow Cow supporters will be able to point you to for MPEG2 to AVI conversion.

June 1, 2005 at 12:32 amConsidering that MPEG2 is highly compressed, you won’t be seeing a tremendous quality difference between your original video and your finished video. June 2, 2005 at 6:46 pmThe Main Concept guys do have a plug-in that permits native editing of MPEG in Premiere. If you plan on doing a lot of this type of work, it might be worth a look.
