Editing DSLR footage
Hi,
I just noticed that when I import clips into the Bin, there’s a little bar that says confirming and the space in my system drive gets used up even though I’ve set all the scratch disks to the external. Is this suppose to happen? If not, how do I get around it and where are these files? I need to free up my laptop.
MBP 15″ 2.6ghz
4gb RAM
MacOSX 10.6
Premiere pro CS5.5 -

It’s the cache files. You could set Premiere Pro to put them where the media is (Preferences>Media)
