    Hi

I’m working on my first grade to come off 35mm. I have a bunch of dpx files that all have the right TC but no reel number so won’t connect to the the xml i have from the offline. (Please no advise to send back to the lab in any way – the film was scanned as a favour to the producer and won’t be getting redone)

a right click on the dpx footage shows an option to set reel number (oh rejoice!) i set the reel number and nothing happens. What gives? is this a bug, a not for dpx feature ?

    ideas welcome

Can you change the timecode of the dpx seq.? As a test..
You should be able to set reel numbers in the header. Could be permission error!
In addition, put your dpx into folders under root in the browse page. Then right click the folder and choose set or filter reel number..

Could you please make sure the reel number option in the config page is enabled? If it is not enabled, reel numbers are effectively disabled in the system everywhere. I think the option is called – “Assist using reel numbers”.

    thanks guys…

the right click thing wasn’t working but the config page thing sorted it – in fact as i had them in the right media pool folders just forced into onto all the clips automatically
