    Hi everybody

I want to edit footage captured by Avid with FCP.
I know I can use calibrated(Q) or MXF4MAC to use mxf in FCP
Both of them seen to work great but I want to know which software is more reliable to work with Snow Leopard and FCP3.

    Thanks for any comment

I love and use MXF4mac in snow and fcp7.

I can’t speak to Calibrated as I don’t use it, nor have I edited Avid created MXF footage in FCP.

But MXF4Mac definitely works in Snow Leopard and FCP7.

All I can say is that I tested it and it worked. I didn’t do any serious editing with the footage, just played around to see how it worked. Seemed to do fine. But I was also running Leopard, and FCP 6…

…so this is a pointless post.

I use Automatic Duck. But that only transfers SEQUENCES, not all the footage. So again…moot.

    Sorry.
