September 27, 2010 at 5:21 pmOK, you card structure is like this, right?
Encompassing Folder (let’s just say it’s Card_01).
Inside folder Card_01, you should have two folders. DCIM and MISC. Is that right?
Inside DCIM is the 100EOS5D folder which has all the files inside.
Correct?

September 27, 2010 at 5:30 pmNo. On the CF card (now mounted on the desktop) the main folder is called “C Camera Interviews” This was a name given this folder by the Tech I worked with on the last gig. There is also a MISC folder which has nothing in it.
Inside the “Camera Interviews” folder is the 100EOS5D folder, and in that the .MOV and .THM files. I have tried importing directly from the cCF card. Nothing. I have copied these folders to the desktop and tried to import. Nothing. I have re-named the folder sitting on my desktop DCIM. nothing. I re-stareted. Still nothing.

September 27, 2010 at 5:37 pmYou aren’t following me, Roy. In order for Log and Transfer to work, a very specific folder structure needs to be maintained, just like any other tapeless camera.
Do this.
Make a folder on your media drive called “C Camera Interviews”.
Now, drag the contents of the CF card in to that folder (so you should have two folders in there, “C Camera Interviews” and “MISC”). Once the copy is complete, rename the C Camera Interviews (that is now inside the encompassing folder with the MISC folder) to DCIM.
So your folder structure should look like this:
A folder called C Camera Interviews with two folders in it, DCIM and MISC. Your tech should not rename the files that come off the CF card, but rather make a new folder and drag the DCIM and MISC folders in to it.
