I have a Macbook pro that is stocked up with Ram and and additional hard drive. I also have a Thunderbolt array. The Thunderbolt array has all of the footage that I’m editing on it while the intenal drive has only a portion. My question is:

I made edits while working mobile. Now that I’ve returned to my Thunderbolt array, how can I import that mobile sequence into my last used sequence on the Thunderbolt array and allow the new sequence to use the footage on the Thunderbolt array?

I’m trying to avoid having some footage on my internal drive then others on the Thunderbolt array. The array is faster and safer.

Any thoughts are very much appreciated!

Copy the media on the local drive to the raid.
    Delete media from local drive.
Launch proj. relink media, point to the files in the new location.
