    Only with an extra machine and both hooked up to some form of shared storage.

    There is a digitize option that will automatically edit the freshly captured clip into the current sequence.
    So technically yes, starting this process will digitize and edit together a string of the full master clips so that when you’re done digitizing you’re stringout will be done also.
    But I don’t think that’s what you had in mind.

    Thanks guys. I didn’t think there would be, I just wanted to check, thought there maybe some form of third Party software that could be digitizing while Avid is open and running but I guess not. Thanks for the responses though,

    yes if you have few NLE

    3 x avid adrenaline, avid unity, and few VTR

    on 1 i digitize used XDCAM

    on 2 i digital cut to IMX tape

    on 3 i edit and work

    all in one avid unity, its works, and don’t loss any frame
