Is it possible to edit an animation layer?

I have a figure carrying out a walk cycle but want to add random hand gestures while it walks. The gestures would be on an animation layer (unless suggested differently) but if I want to go back in and edit the layers or the keyframes on them….how is it done? I can’t find any info on this.

    Thanks,
    Brian

It’s possible but I can’t recall the exact procedure. I suggest you check out Kai Pederson’s video tutorials on the NLA system at Cineversity.com You have to register, but they’re free.

Brilliant! Just watched it – that’s EXACTLY what I needed and was tremendously easier than I thought! Thanks Adam! You always come through!

Now I just have to see if I can mix layers with motion clips!
