    Editing a multiclip

    I’m trying to use FCP’s multi-camera feature but I can never get it to work as advertised. I have made a multiclip and everything seems good to go. I press play but when I click on an angle to make a cut, the playback stops and no cut is made.

    I am following KenStones tutorial. https://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/multicam_editing_martin.html
    The FCP manual says pretty much the same thing. I also tried using a custom key to make the switch but it also stops playing and no results.

    I had given up on using multi camera editing once before but everybody says it’s supposed to work. Please help me bust down this wall. Why wouldn’t my system (FCP 6) work as it should?
