  edited video has big black border around it

  Hi,

  I imported an avi into Premiere cs4 and edited it.

  I then exported it as an f4v file and changed the name to flv

  When I play the file it has a black border around it which is much bigger than the image itself.

  I used Premiere and a few other systems such as ProTools and Final Cut Pro a few years ago and am now playing catch up.

  The thing that most overwhelmed me today was what project setting to use for a new file.

  I will most likely only be importing avi or mp4 files for a while and will then be exporting them to flv or mpeg4 for use on the web, so any tips on what to choose when the program first opens would be very helpful.
