Edited camcorder video from Vegas- crashes when skipping.
I’m using Vegas Pro 11 on Windows Ent x64. I copied the video from my camcorder (*.MTS) onto the PC, placed it in Vegas then Rendered it as “BluRay 1920×1080-50i, 10Mbs video” which resulted in the file Church.M2TS.
The video plays nicely, however, if I skip ahead or behind, the first frame of the new destination shows and stays on the screen while the audio continues as normal. If I skip again, the same thing happens.
Why would it be doing this?
My aim is to produce a 1920×1080 video with 5.1 audio.

What type of computer hardware are you using?
I help out a lot of people on the Tom’s Hardware message board, and most of those people that have video editing issues seem to all be using AMD processors. Unfortunately there really isn’t a worse cpu choice for video editing workstations than AMD.
Oops…..guess i’m jumping the gun here…….

C: = 750GB, D: = 750GBIt seems that it has something to do with the Format being BDAV. But I am struggling to find a codec in Vegas which will give me:
1920 x 1080p
50Hz
5.1 Channel audio|
