Edit to Tape in FCP: Decklink misbehavior
When I go Edit to Tape in FCP I find that on the first frame on tape there is one field doubled – causing a jerky movement at this point. This makes it virtually impossible to make a decent video insert on tape.
NB This is not a playback offset issue. You cannot solve the problem that way as a different offset will not change the fact that the first frame coming from the Decklink card has a duplicated fieldAnyone having the same problem here?

PS Blackmagic acknowledged the problem to me but strangely they also seem uninterested to solve it – they told me they didn’t address the issue in their 6.3 driver. I wonder if solving the problem would cost more than 15 minutes of coding…?

we have the exact the same problem here, and nobody was able to help us so far. So we hope that blackmagic will fix this problem soon;-)
