  • Edit to Tape Frame Accuracy Problems with SD and Kona LH

I am editing on Final Cut Pro 6.0.4 on a Power Mac G5 (OS 10.4.11) using the Kona LH card (5.1). When I edit a drop frame sequence to tape (SONY Digi Beta), the frame accuracy gets all screwed up after the initial insert point (which occurs at the right timecode, usually 00;58;40;00 for a minute of bars and tone). I have had some success cheating the sequence by deleting 1 frame before the first edit occurring after the start of the sequence but this doesn’t always work.

Has anyone else had these problems and is there a solution other than cheating?

I have the same rig and mine has never done that. I’d try trashing prefs.

    Have a wonderful day.
