Everytime I try to do an edit to tape from a completed sequence, FCP crashes. I have to export the sequence as a self contained movie (a reference file crashes too), create a new project and import the .mov file into the project. Once I have wasted all that time, I can do an edit to tape.

Machine is a Mac Pro with dual quad core 3 GHz, 8GB Ram, Kona 3 . . .

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Well 6.0.3 had many weird problems.

Also uninstalled and reinstalled the AJA drivers?

You are qualified to run Kona v5.1NDD (or v6) on that system as well if you feel like an upgrade.

Is your MacPro a pre2008 machine?
