Edit to tape – all dissappears
Hi,
G5 dual 2gb – Tiger – FCP 5 recent upgrade – Sony DSR 45
After opening FCP It will send A/V to the DSR 45 quite happily. However, repeated attempts to “Edit to Tape” result in the machine being controlled as normal but no picture or audio going through. Then when I exit out of ETT I cannot get it to send A/V to the DSR without exiting FCP and restarting.
Whilst it’s not desparate on this occasion as timecode accuracy isn’t critical – it’s still a pain.
Anybody know what’s going on?

Note to Cow Admins – would be nice to be able to go in and edit our typos like we can on IMDB.
