Im new to P.Pro and would like to know if it is possible to edit a clip in P.Pro and save it in a separate folder.

Do all all edits have to be done in a time line? What Id like is to edit a few clips, save in a folder than import them back into the time line to export.

I hope I have made it clear as to what I want to do,,

    thanks,.,

I don’t know if this answers your questions – but you could do things like apply an effect, change in and out points in the source window, then create a bin within your project to place such clips – just drag them there within the project panel.

But – I do think placing the clips on the timeline allows you to do more in one place, and for me, avoiding the timeline would be a less efficient work-flow.

You can create a sub clip or drag the clip from the source (after edits) back into the bin.

Don’t really need to do any of that in the sequence timeline.

I do this all the time before rough.
