  • “Edit Quality Presets” goes back to default

Hi, I am going to make a DVD with some standard mini dv clips.

After opening a project with DVD authoring mode, I open the File – “Edit Quality Presets” and on the right side of “Export Settings”, I choose “Format” – Mpeg2 DVD with default “Preset” then hit OK.

When I come back to this “Export Settings” window again, all the settings return to the defualt.

    Am I missing something ?

    Thanks in advance.

You have to save your changes by saving and naming a new preset.

I did it a few times. Still, whenever I open the quality presets, it shows the default blue ray, or it shows VBR 2pass, even if I save another transcode.
Is it some kind of bug, maybe?

Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were having trouble saving the changes you made to the settings.

If I understand correctly now, you want to have the Edit Quality Presets dialog to open up with your last saved/used preset showing instead of whatever default preset Encore chooses to show you. Is that right?

I don’t know a way to do that. If it’s important to you, please file a feature request here.
