I’m working on an audio project and I’m experiencing some odd behavior with Essential Sound (ES). After making my edits, I went back into the timeline and added ES to the individual clips. When playing back, all of my edit points have shifted back by about 15 frames. The wave forms on the timeline still display properly. I’m sure it’s ES causing it because I had no issues until adding the effects I tried eliminating the ES processors one at a time with no change and when when I remove all ES attributes, all is fine again.

This is the second project this has happened on. I thought the first one was a fluke. We worked around it by adding ES to the raw tracks, baking in the effects with an export, then cutting that into the sequence.

It’s happened on both Win7 and Mac OSX, both running PPro 12.1.0.

    Anyone else experience the?

    Thanks for the reply John.

I bet more folks are having the same issue and don’t know it. It’s only noticeable on tight edits. If you have air head and tail of the cuts, it’s likely still happening, but doesb’t show itself.
