Edit Original?
Is there a place where I can make changes for what apps are used when “Edit Original” is selected for a source file in AE8?
I am trying to change AE8 from opening Preview for editing instead of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc…

Edit Original is a system-wide feature. The setting is created and updated as you install applications. For Windows, you’ll have to right-click on a file and then select Open With … .
The downside is that any time you double-click on say a PSd file, it will no longer open up Photoshop and the file.
