    Hi,

    I have a question.

    I work on a MBP, have Production Premium CS4 installed (so, a fully working version of ao Premiere and Illustrator, no problems)

    When I have a illustrator-file imported in a Pr-project, I could edit original in Illustrator using ‘edit original’ or the equivalent shortcut.

    But it opens preview instead. Even when I have illustrator opened.

    Where can I change this setting, so that it opens Illustrator rather than preview.

    Hi Flo,

    Is the file an actual Illustrator file? .ai?

    If so, go to the file itself (Out of Premiere) Ctrl click it and hit Get info, then change the “Open with” menu to Illustrator.

    and… of course.

    I was blind! looking in Premiere only. couldn’t find it.

    Now it works.
