Is it possible to edit built-in fields in CatDV?
The reason is I changed the clips format from .wmv to .mp4 because CatDV fails to show .wmv media and therefore, of course also in building the proxy.

But, when I do it, of course I loose all the original metadata such as the principal one: RECORD DATE. So I thought in editing this information manually. How can I solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance

    From the help section:

“Specify names and types for user-defined columns or create additional columns. The FCP Preset button automatically sets user column names to match Final Cut Pro. Use the Built-in Fields button to customise the names of pre-defined attributes. You can also define Marker Categories from this tab. (Professional Edition only)”

Be careful with this tab however, as you can really muck things up in your db without realizing it. (Especially if you swap files with another CatDV user.)

I finally solved it by changing it manually through Bulk edit option. Thanks!
