Edit and Change the Avid DS Layout
I cant seem to find out how to change the layout of the Avid DS Nitris’ layout. I am on a dual monitor system. I know you can go to the Layout menu at the top and choose edit and then right click on the different sections and split horizontally or vertically and then drag but that doesn’t always give me as much control as I would like. The windows on the left of the screen can’t be dragged to the right and then up this way. If possible I would like to make every window floating (like in After Effects) so I can move them anywhere. I haven’t been able to find anything on this. Thanks in advance.

Everything has to be in a “layout” window. No floating windows. You should be able to move the layout line from one monitor to the other, but when you hit an existing assignment, it becomes an issue. You can always rt click and choose to delete or remove that segment.
