Ever since I got my HVX200 I’ve been having problems with outputing 24pn to either DVcam or BetaSP. Is it FCP that doesn’t do a good job of adding pulldown back or could it be my Kona 3? Footage on my desktop looks wonderful, how do I get good looking footage out to tape…….like the Dorito’s Superbowl ads for example?

Thanks for any help you can give,

    Tim

I was about to come to your defense and then I realized it was you talking about yourself. You must have found the answer.

    Thanks,

I found that I needed to:

click on the button of the sequence (upper-left):
    a) Set Video playback to HIGH.
    b) Set Frame Rate to FULL.

I think this helped the video doesn’t have the reverse feild look to it anymore. I still notice it’s not as smooth as other commercials I’ve seen, at least on my NTSC set.

    Thanks again,
    Tim
