    Hi All,

I am looking at the Edirol V-4 and the Datavideo SE-500, And Made up my mind on the V-4.

However after checking I find the V-4 does Not do “4-up” (You can switch between anyone of the 4 inputs but you can only view 1 at a time).

The Datavideo SE-500 will allow preview of all 4 inputs, But I am unsure of the quality of the Mixer?

This will be my first Video Mixer, I have used Switches in the past with Little Success.

I shoot Live Theater with 4 cameras (SD), And getting a “Rough” mix would save me a lot of time.

My budget is around a Thousand Dollars, Any thoughts?

Any suggestions or comments will be welcome.

    John

    Hi Maurice,

    I can’t seem to find a Panasonic MX70 under 3-4,000 Dollars.

    Any other Suggestions?

    Thanks, John
