Ed, Mike and others continued help on HDV Capture
OK
Finally got the right capture program (internal). Have Vegas properties set to HD 1080i (1920×1080 29.970), Vegas will control and apparently capture video from the Fx1. It can be seen on the preview screen in the capture module. When capture is stopped a file is deposited in Project Media (Clipxx.m2t). HOWEVER it will not play in the Project media window and it cannot be drug to the time line. I suspect this is a codec problem , right? I have loaded the Codec lite pak but still no go. What might be my problem now? I have 2.4 dual core with 2Gram and 3 drives. HELP!! -

~Project properties should be HDV, not HD. 1440 x 1080
~you dont’ need a codec pack, and chances are very good this is part of what’s screwing you up.Douglas Spotted Eagle

Yes, yes, yes it works with those settings. Even with my codec pac. Thank you (again) Spot.
