Easy Setup, hopefully easy question
I am shooting for the first time in 1080 30p with the Panasonic hmc 150. I have been set up for DV-NTSC usually.
Now working in HD 1018 – I am not sure what to use. I don’t see anything in the list that makes sense to me. The closest I see is HDV – 1080 p30 Firewire Basics? I bring my clips in through log and transfer.I looked into Audio and video settings looked like it would be closer to proper setting Apple Pro Res 422 (HQ)1920 x 1080 30 p 48 kHz
I didn’t know about capture device since it’s log and transfer
Device control ?
Video playback?
Audio Playback? Any direction on getting settings correct would be helpful -

Don’t use HDV. Use the ones that match the footage. Apple ProRes 422 1080i60. or, if you just cut one clip into the timeline, the timeline will conform to match the clip.
