    Hi CC,

I’m used to Flash’s easing which is darn easy. After Effects’s graph editor is fine too. However, I’m trying to ease text using the text “animator” and have no idea what I’m doing.

I read a CC thread that was posted citing the Adobe manual, but…To be honest I still can’t seem to get the thing to work.

This is for a job, not practice, so I’d really be grateful if somebody could tell me what general settings can be used to gently ease in text using the text animator.

I’m just trying to slide in letters one at a time gracefully. That is all.

Thanks a bunch for any help.

Why not start by just animating the text layer’s position property and adding an Easy Ease Keyframe Assistant to the position keyframes?

I would but I’m animating each letter individually. I played with the Ramp Up setting and made something that should work. I still don’t really know what I’m doing, but I guess it’s just one of those things that takes practice.

    Thanks Joey. 🙂
