Easier way to copy/paste in timeline? CS 5.5
Hi guys, re: copying and pasting a clip after itself in the timeline (on the same track) is there an easy shortcut to do this?
Right now, it seems like I highlight the clip… then CTRL-C… then I put my CTI to where I want it to paste, and it always seems to paste to a random track, unless I first highlight the track I’m on.
Is there an “automatic select track” option somewhere I don’t know about (like if I highlight the clip, it highlights the track, in the style of Sony Vegas)?

Copy/paste isn’t random, it works on the first highlighted(armed) track, even if multiple tracks are selected. In the case of audio for CS5.5 then it may create a track if the currently selected track doesn’t support the channel type (stereo clip pasted into mono track).
