    I’m not familiar with keyshot, but E3D is a 3D package built along the same specs as video game graphics. That’s over simplifying but there’s some truth in it. What this means is everything you see in E3D is ‘faked’. There no real ray tracing or light bending. The guys at video copilot have done an amazing job of recreating the look of so many materials, but it does come with limitations.

    If you don’t have their pro shaders pack, it might be worth getting as there are glass materials in there. (I think – I don’t have it anymore – long story).

    Hi Graham,

    Thank you for your comment. It wasn’t in my knowledge that e3d is fake! (not real 3d) and that’s why it has limitation.
