    Really nice spot John and lots of useful tips. Would you elaborate a tiny bit more on why you used 2 control (null) layers to animate the camera? I didn’t quite follow that. Also, was there a specific reason why you didn’t use AE’s built-in fx to separate xyz?

    I used one null as a parent for the camera. The second null was used as a master control to which the expression effect (sliders) were applied. The position parameters and y rotation for the first null were linked to individual expression sliders on the master control layer. Take a look at the project file on Motionworks (do a search for camera).
