    Hi,

I am trying to make one wheel roll inside of another using dynamics.

At the moment all the wheels seem to do is repel one another rather than staying together.

I have experimented using Force>follow position which seems to keep them together but it acts erratically.

If anyone can shed any light on how to achieve this that would be great.

Here is the link to the project file:

    Many thanks,

    Rich

First, you have to set the collision shape of the outer wheel to “moving mesh”. By default it’s set to automatic which creates a non-concave shape around your object to use as a proxy for collisions. It does that because it calculates faster.

Second, you’ll have to scale down the inner wheel a bit because it’s intersecting the outer wheel even before the animation starts.
